The factory M157 heat exchanger holds very little coolant and struggles to control intake temperatures once boost is increased. This becomes a major limitation on tuned vehicles, especially during repeated pulls.
The DTK Oversized Heat Exchanger dramatically increases coolant capacity and cooling surface area, keeping intake temperatures stable and allowing consistent performance pull after pull.
